A young clarinetist with many appearances in clubs and balls is wanted by the authorities, as he is considered the leader of a gang that committed fraud against the elderly and doctors. Specifically, the 20-year-old musician was allegedly a leading member of a ring that defrauded doctors and elderly people throughout Greece. The warrant was issued by the judicial authorities of Agrigento after the evidence gathered by the police officers of the Agrigento Sub-Directorate of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes. How the circuit worked. The officers investigating the case believe that the 20-year-old was personally calling his would-be victims and telling them that they “deserve a tax refund from the IRS”. It is characteristic that the members of this criminal group were constantly moving to other cities. According to the F.B.I., the circuit made the calls and then returned to where they were staying, making it difficult for the authorities to link them to locations and calls. Then they sent the money to accounts of other members of the circuit, with the lead members being the final recipients of the money. Dozens of people. According to the Greek police, the confirmed victims of the “doctors’ gang” are 80, although the number may be considerably higher, while the gang that targeted the elderly was found to be responsible for the deaths of more than 100 people. He’d cheated at least 40 people. Losses of money from confirmed fraud amount to €630,000.
